Honor roll program objectives:

  • Publicize the importance of antibiotic responsibility.

Program logistics:

  • Honor roll membership will be annually renewable.
  • Hospitals will be eligible for one of three self-selected levels of recognition.
  • For the first round of recognition, interested hospitals should submit required materials by August 31, 2017.
  • Hospitals may submit materials at any time, and updates to the honor roll web listing will be made quarterly.
  • The honor roll process will be administered by Minnesota Department of Health.

Levels of recognition:

  • Commitment (Bronze): Demonstrated hospital commitment to antibiotic stewardship
  • Action (Silver): Commitment and use of specific interventions to improve antibiotic use
